How to setup alert to Event

NOTE: You need to install Telegram messenger into your smart phone in order to receive alert. Telegram is similar like WhatsApp. Few of the benefit using Telegram is it is free and it can works in multiple device (Smart phone, PC or in laptop) simultaneously. To install Telegram messenger, go to tdesktop.com (for PC or Laptop) and Google Play for smart phone.

Before you set the alert, you need to create an Event Code first. Please refer or click here how to create an Event Code.

A. SETTING UP

Step A1. Login to merchant's website

Step A2. Go to Event Alert --> press Add

How to fill up:

Alert ID --> Type any reference for this alert. If you are using it for attendance tracking, you need to create at least 2 alert ID --> (1) Check In  (2) Check Out

Category --> this category is used to determine what type of tracking you wanted. You can track the following type of alert:

Event Category

A2A. Measurement of time - Exceed the pre-set limit 
Category name: (Time of Event B minus Time of Event A > Time Taken)

To track time taken from point/event A (starting) to point/event B (completion) if EXCEED your pre-set time. Example, if you set from point A to B exceed more than 1 hour or 60 minutes. If yes exceeded, system to sent alert.

A2B. Measurement of time - Less than the pre-set limit.
Category name: (Time of Event B minus Time of Event A < Time Taken)
 
To track time taken from point/event A (starting) to point/event B (completion) if LESS THAN your pre-set time. Example, if you set from point A to B less than 1 hour or 60 minutes. If yes less, system to sent alert.

A2C. When Event B not attempted 
This is to track if the event set is not reported i.e. the staff has not tap their card when required.

A2D. When Event A reported
This is to track when the staff tap the card.

A2E. When Event A attempted after time set
This is to track when the staff tap the card after time set. Example, you set time at 9.00am, any staff tap after the pre-set time (9.00am), system will sent an alert.


Step A3. Depending on the category you choose, select the Event Code for Event A and B.

Step A4. Put the time set

Step A5. For the email alert, leave blank (currently, email alert is not yet available)

Step A6. Enter the hand phone number to sent the alert (the hand phone must have Telegram to receive the alert).

Step A7. Put the message you want the system to sent...for example, staff is checking out or staff is checking in.

Step A8. Click Save.


B. RECEIVING ALERT

Step B1  On the terminal

Step B2   Go to F2 --> Staff --> Events --> Select the event code (X) --> Press Done/Selesai --> Tap the staff card

Step B3  Based on your setup above, in about 5-10 minutes, an alert will be sent to your Telegram / Hand Phone
