MCIS Code (The Malaysia Standard Industrial Classification) for GST Submission

MSIC Code is an item code (5 digits) representing your business nature (Major Industry Code).

Where do I get this code? Visit the following link:

1. English Version -->  http://msic.stats.gov.my/bi/
2. BM Version --> http://msic.stats.gov.my/bm/index.php

- Then select MSIC DESCRIPTION
- Type the nature of your business at Search by description of activities box.

Example : retail

A list of codes for retail will appear. Look for the business under retail and the code that represents it.
