How the minimum & maximum price works

1. When you set a minimum price, the product cannot be sold lower than the minimum price setting and also vice versa i.e. the product cannot be sold more than the maximum price setting.

2a. This is good for owner or merchant that give discounts. The staff will then know what is the minimum price or discount price he/she can offer to customers and does not have to contact bosses for approval OR

2b. Same product but sell at different price at different location (Notice: this feature is not suitable to kedai runcit or mini market type because they need to edit the price. Not friendly when customers at long que).

2c. Open item such as Fish, Vegetables, Food, Drinks --> set the minimum as 0 and maximum to the highest for example 1000 or 500. Therefore, during selling, you can edit or enter using the short cut the Actual price accordingly.

3. However, if the minimum and maximum price is set the same, for example minimum = 5 and maximum = 5, you cannot sell lower & higher than 5.00.

4. DEFAULT DISPLAY at terminal --> During selling, the system will default to display the Maximum price. You can tap at the item and press Edit or Sunting --> to edit the price. Press Back button to delete and enter the new price.

Terminal display the max price set
