There are 2 common causes:
A1. The file is not in CSV format. Probably, you do not save it as CSV (Comma Delimited). Please open your Excel file and save it as CSV. Click here for the detail steps --> FOR RETAIL & FOR RESTAURANT
A2. Old template being uploaded - whenever there is update to our system, we post a new product template. Please check & compare. Login to Merchant website. Go to Sales & Distribution --> Product Maintenance --> Product Upload --> Download Product List Template
B. File Validation Fail --> Unsuccessful Upload
Below are the most common causes:
B1. Missing information in the required column. For example, the file contain 100 items but the screen display --> Total record to upload 100: (Uploaded successfully: 90, Passed on validation: 0, Failed on validation 10)
Scroll to the last page to see the error messages shown at the last column labelled "Message". Then, please check your file. Click here for the field description & input required --> FOR RETAIL & FOR RESTAURANT

B2. Wrong or Mismatch tax input for product tax code (output tax) in Column J (Tax type) & Column K (Tax Code) and stock tax code (input tax) Column P (Tax Code 1). Click here for the field description & input required --> FOR RETAIL & FOR RESTAURANT

B3. The column Q onward has been deleted. If you do not use the column, please leave it blank. Click here for the field description & input required --> FOR RETAIL & FOR RESTAURANT

B4. There is a hidden row in between some of the lines / rows. Highlight all the rows or select All, right click and choose unhide. Check the each rows.

B5. Product code or stock code already exist --> meaning the code already created. If you want to change information of the product or stock, please perform edit via terminal or website. Click here for the steps by steps to edit product or stock information.
B6. Hidden text in the unused Row --> referring to the last row onward. Highlight the blank row from the last and press delete.
